Tom Mollsen opened MMPT to create his ideal physical therapy practice. Having worked for highly respected, traditional physical therapy offices for many years, Tom knew he was ready to do orthopedic manual physical therapy exclusively. He saw firsthand the benefits of manual therapy for his patients. At MMPT, the patient and therapist work closely together to address pain and range-of-motion impairment stemming from musculoskeletal issues. The entire approach is outcome-based, so significant time is spent discussing the patient’s goals and evaluating root causes. Our therapists carefully make these assessments before designing a treatment plan.

Our treatment plans consist of manual techniques and specifically designed and dosed rehabilitation exercises customized for you. Manual physical therapists are highly skilled clinicians, spending extensive time in post-graduate education and hands-on training to master various manual techniques. The therapy itself involves both a hands-on component with the therapist manipulating/mobilizing joints and soft tissue, and an exercise component comprised of specifically designed activities, to help you realize your functional goals. Drawing from the many proven-effective manual therapy options, MMPT therapists choose the optimal techniques, based on their findings at the initial evaluation and at regular re-assessments throughout the course of treatment.

At MMPT, our patients work exclusively with a licensed, credentialed, orthopedic manual physical therapist. We do not have PT assistants or technicians. After a thorough evaluation at your first visit, our therapists determine the root cause of your problem, decide the best course of treatment and discuss it with you. Then we make sure we partner with you to make the improvements happen.

We want to get you back to the activities you love – as quickly as possible!
